| Remember the old B&W reel-to-reel video tape format that was popular
in the late 60's and early 70's? Chances are your high school or college
had this equipment and you may even have some tapes you made from this early
video era. Perhaps you have some old game tapes, the school play, graduation...
whatever. We can transfer these obsolete Sony, Panasonic, and Memorex video
tape reels to current VHS videocassettes so you can enjoy them once more.
These 30+ year old tapes have now deteriorated to the point where they are virtually unplayable without extensive restoration methods being applied, first. This is a time consuming and labor intensive process involving several stages to achieve a suitable outcome. Therefore, our charges must reflect the time spent and the materials required.
-5" reels (up to 30 minutes) = $70.00 These charges include the blank VHS videocassette. Please note that some tapes may be so badly deteriorated as to be unrestorable. In this case they will be returned to you without charge. |

We take pride in handling each and every order on an individual basis. With that in mind every effort will be made to meet your specific requirements, but please be advised that we are not able to offer a specific delivery date. All film transfers are processed in the order in which they are received. Our normal turnaround time is running 6 to 8 weeks.
Limitations of Liability
By supplying film and other material to TFG Film & Tape (TFG), customer acknowledges and agrees that TFG's liability for any loss, damage or delay to film or other material during the transferring service and/or while in transit will be limited to the replacement cost of a non-exposed roll of film and/or a blank videocassette of similar size. Except for such replacement, TFG shall not be liable for any loss or damage, direct, consequential or incidental arising out of customer's use of TFG's service. Customer further warrants that the material being presented to TFG for copying is not, to his/her knowledge, protected by copyright owned by another, or that if the material is protected, the customer has obtained permission from the copyright owner to make copies of the material. Customer agrees to indemnify and hold TFG harmless from any and all claims of copyright infringement.
